Literature Review
Understanding EV Charging Infrastructure
We covered the types of EV charging, including Level 1 (120V), Level 2 (220V), and Level 3 DC fast charging (200+ volts). The literature underlined that 60% of EV charging is done at home, with the majority of that happening between 6 PM and 8 PM.
User Behavior and Global Trends
Our research revealed that 70% of EV users charge daily, and the availability of charging stations varies globally. China leads in EV infrastructure development, while many residential complexes lack on-site charging facilities.
Case Study Analysis
We analyzed examples like Tesla Superchargers in Hilden, Germany, which integrate amenities such as cafés, transforming charging hubs into community spaces.
